A beautiful Edwardian buckle ring made made in 18 carat gold. This antique piece was hallmarked in Chester, UK, in 1908.
The wide and polished band forms a belt and buckle motif; an incredibly popular design through the latter half of the Victorian era and into the Edwardian period. A buckle symbolises loyalty, protection, and love that stays fastened through life’s changes, and as such, jewellery of this design were often gifted between friends and lovers.
Two star-set hand-cut old mine cut diamonds are showcased in hand-engraved star settings and their bright white sparkles perfectly elevate the buttery old gold.

Harper: A striking seven-stone ring set with three velvety sapphires and four bright old mine cut diamonds set in 18 carat gold. The sapphires are that lovely royal - cobalt blue and sit in perfect harmony with the four old cut diamond with their chunky facets.
